Fans and players converged, this last Monday before Thanksgiving, at the Harley Doggett Gymnasium in Rogers to watch the Rogers Lady Eagles Host the Lake Belton Lady Broncos in Basketball.
The Lady Eagles started off sluggish in the first quarter. By the end of the first half the Lady Eagles were down 23 to 15 against the Broncos.
In the third quarter, the Lady Eagles came within 3 points of the Lady Broncos and were showing strong cohesive ball movement and team play.
The third quarter ended with the Lady Eagles down 5 points, but the Lady Broncos proved too deep and powerful in the 4th despite multiple turnovers on traveling violations.
In the end the Lady Broncos from Belton Lake took the W from the Lady Eagles by the score of 47-28
