Rogers Eagles Baseball Closes Season in Style With Win Over Ranked Lorena Leopards

It was a beautiful but windy morning for Baseball after the strong storms moved out of the area that canceled many games the night before.
Just before noon, the Rogers Eagles looked to send their Seniors out in style when they took on the Lorena Leopards.
The game started off slowly, with the first two innings ending in 0-0.
The Eagles opened the scoring in the bottom of the third on a single by Jackson Landeros which scored RJ Cook.
The 4th and 5th innings went scoreless and in the top of the sixth, the Leopards tied the game on an infield hit by Jackson Generals which scored Kasen Taylor.
In the bottom of the sixth the Rogers Eagles answered with a salvo of runs with two outs to make the score 5 to 1.
The Leopards added two runs in the top of the seventh, but it could not overcome the error riddled afternoon and fell to the Eagles 3-5
