Rogers Eagles Baseball Routs Rockdale Tigers

In an all out brute force attack, the Rogers Eagles play masterfully against the Rockdale Tigers and take the district game in shutout fashion.
The Eagles started out by scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the first with the help from errors made by the Rockdale infield.
They followed up in the bottom of the second and third inning with a run a piece, making the score 6-0.
In the Fourth, RJ Cook scored off a Jackson Landeros single to second base. Riley Hoelscher added another run on a line drive single scoring Cooper Massar which made the score 8-0.
The game was ended in the bottom of the sixth inning after Cooper Massar singled scoring RJ Cook and Riley Hoelscher sacrificed to right fielder T. Stewart, scoring Cooper Massar to make the score 10-0.
RJ Cook led Rogers in hitting going 3 for 3. Cooper Massar had 4 at bats with 2 hits and 2 RBI’s.
Sophomore Riley Hoelscher Pitched 5 innings, struck out 5, gave up 4 hits and no runs.
