Centex All-Star Juniors Baseball vs Lake Air won by forfeit (4-0)
Young Men in the Majors Division Hammer Southern
First inning ended in a 3-3 tie
Centex added one in the top of the second and two in the 3rd Southern scored on in the bottom of the 4th making the score 6 to 4.
Centex All-Stars opened the up the game with 8 runs in the Top of the 4th on some stellar batting and base running that included an inside the park home run by Lane F which also scored Luis T.
Final Score was 14-4
Lane F went 3 for 3 on the night and have 4 RBI’s.
Simon Glasgow finished the game on the mound with 4 strikeouts.
Centex All-Star Majors Softball Vs Robinson
On the previous day the Ladies from the Centex Majors Division (12u) took a loss to the potent Little League 2022 defending World Champions from Midway LL 8-0.
They answered back last night against the Majors from Robinson Little League.
With the game scoreless going into the bottom of the 1st inning, Centex Majors put up gross numbers by scoring 9 on their first opportunity of the night.
Robinson Majors had absolutely no answer in the top of the second.
In the bottom of the second, the Centex Majors put up 12 more runs.
The Game ended on mercy rule after the top of the third with the score 21-0.
In two innings, the Centex Major Ladies posted 21 runs on 14 hits.
Four players batted a 1000. Mackenzie U went 3 for 3, Brooke R. was 2 for 2, Lily J. was 2 for 2 and Mackenzie L was 2 for 2.
Molley T started in the circle and threw 23 pitches, with 18 strikes. and 3 strikeouts.
In inning 2 Mackenzie L relieved and threw 25 pitches, 22 were strikes and she strike out 5 batters.
They held Robinson to 0 runs on 5 hits and improve in All-Stars to 2-1.
Centex (10u) All-Stars Softball Walked With an Impressive W Against Lorena All-Stars 19-4.
Collins Boren went 2-3 with a two run double to left field.
The girls played very aggressive on the base path scoring on multiple passed balls.
Bryleigh Walker pitched a complete game giving up two hits allowing four runs.
