Lake Air All-Stars Go Up 1-0 in the Top of the First, Centex Juniors Score the Rest for the Easy Win

In a lopsided affair the Centex Junior All-Star baseball team defeated the Lake Air All-Stars during the Little League District 9 tournament yesterday.
Lake Air went up by a run in the top of the first on a ball that was hit to the outfield. The Centex Juniors answered in the bottom of the first with 13 runs to solidify the outcome early.
Centex added two more runs in the 2nd and 6 in the third making the score 21-1 which ended the game by run rule after 3 innings.
Centex All-Stars scored 21 runs on 12 hits from 19 at bats and flashed speed with 13 stolen bases.
Tre Castillo started on the mound and through 2+ innings struck out 5 batters. He was relieved by Hunter Mariante who finished the game striking out 2.
Today the Centex Junior All-Stars will be playing for the District 9 title at Midway Little League fields located directly behind Hewitt Elementary School 900 W Panther Way in Hewitt, Texas.
