Centex All-Star Majors Softball Team Takes Second Place in District 9.

In their inaugural season, the Centex All-Star Majors softball finished in second place in the district 9 tournament. Their All-Star record this year was 3 and 3, but let’s not lose sight of a few facts. Their only losses came at the hands of the talent laden defending Little League World Champions from Midway.
The Ladies from Centex proved that they could put up runs against most of the competition by besting the Lorena All-Stars 10-0, Robinson All-Stars 21-0, and Waco Southern All-Stars 19-2.
This is arguably the toughest district in the entire country and when it comes down to it, in fastpitch District 9 is made up of the Midway All-Stars and everyone else.
It’s probably a safe assumption that if not for the defending World Champions being in the district, the Centex Ladies would be the representing team from D9.
The old saying is Iron Sharpens Iron. The future is really bright for all the ladies from District 9.
