Centex Junior D-9 All-Stars Dominate Snyder Junior All-Stars in a 17-0 Victory

In an explosive offensive showcase, the Centex Junior D-9 All-Stars showcased their winning prowess against the Snyder Junior All-Stars. From the first inning until the end, Centex proved to be a formidable force, leaving Snyder struggling to find an answer.
The game started with Tywon Walker of Centex smashing a single to the shortstop, which turned into an extra base due to a poor throw to first. Gavin Brummett followed with a walk. Ryder Castro then hit the ball to the opposite field, loading the bases. Frankie Gonzalez was hit by a pitch, forcing Walker home and granting Centex the first run of the game. Ty Dawson stepped up next and delivered a powerful hit to the right center field, resulting in a double and bringing home Brummett, Castro, and Gonzales, boosting the score to 4-0. Dawson advanced to third on a balk by the pitcher, and Tre Castillo hit a deep right double, allowing Dawson to cross home plate. Centex stormed ahead, scoring five runs in the first inning alone.
Snyder Juniors struggled to respond to Ryder Castro’s pitching prowess in the bottom of the first inning. Castro allowed only one hit, and the inning concluded with an impressive double play executed by shortstop Tywon Walker, who swiftly turned the play around to second base and then first base.
The second inning saw Centex adding five more runs to their already commanding lead. Snyder All-Stars helped by loaded the bases with walks and hit batters. By inning end, the score stood at a staggering 10-0 in favor of Centex Junior D-9 All-Stars.
Again in the bottom of the second Snyder remained powerless against the players from around the lower 254.
As the game progressed into the top of the third inning, Centex continued their offensive onslaught. Caleb Hill and Cam Eveleigh both drew walks, and Cooper Camp joined them on base after being walked as well. Sean Benavides followed suit, walking to bring Hill home and widen the gap. Tywon Walker stepped up to the plate and drove in two runs on a ground ball to second base, with Benavides reaching second and Tywon safely making it to first due to a fielding error. The score soared to 13-0 in favor of Centex.
Snyder All-Stars failed to find an answer to Ryder Castro’s dominant pitching throughout the bottom of the thrid inning, leaving them scoreless and still struggling to get on the board. The Centex defense remained unyielding.
In the top of the fourth, Centex loaded the bases, capitalizing on an error at third base caused by teamate Hunter Mariante’s hit. One run scored on a poorly thrown ball back to the pitcher, and the base runners advanced. Cameron Eveleigh followed with a powerful hit to the opposite field, resulting in an unplayable triple and allowing two runs to score. Cooper Camp then drove in Eveleigh with a single before the Snyder Juniors managed to record the final out of the inning.
The game came to an end due to the run rule, as the Snyder Juniors failed to score in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Centex Junior All-Stars emerged victorious in a decisive and dominant fashion, securing a 17-0 win.
Pitcher Ryder Castro was a standout performer for Centex, throwing 36 pitches with 24 strikes, giving up only 2 hits and 0 runs. He also achieved two strikeouts, showcasing his exceptional skills on the mound.
With a total of 22 at-bats and 9 hits, the Centex Junior All-Stars delivered an impressive performance, leaving no doubt about their well-deserved victory over the Snyder Junior Allstars 17-0
