Midway Major All-Stars Secure Convincing 3-0 Victory against Industrial Major All-Stars

In a thrilling matchup between the Midway Major All-Stars from the Texas West Region and the Industrial Major All-Stars from the Texas East Region, the Midway team emerged victorious with a decisive 3-0 win.
The game started with an impressive display of hitting from the Midway All-Stars, as Brooklyn Jamerson’s single to left field drove in Alanna Guerrero from second base, putting the team ahead 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning.
Continuing their offensive prowess, Jayada Green stepped up in the bottom of the second inning and confidently took a 2-2 pitch over the left field wall, securing a solo home run and extending the Midway All-Stars’ lead to 2-0.
The third run came in the following inning, when Taylor Kasten showcased her speed and base-running skills. After a solid single, she executed a daring steal to reach second base and then capitalized on a wild pitch, advancing to third. A perfectly timed dash home on a passed ball earned her team a comfortable 3-0 lead.
On the defensive side, the Midway All-Stars proved to be equally formidable. Ambri Ramos took the Circle and delivered an exceptional pitching performance, allowing only one hit—a double—and striking out four batters during her 3 and 2/3 innings on the field.
In the top of the 4th inning, Zaneria Hughes took over the pitching duties and continued the strong showing for the Midway team. Hughes gave up just one hit and managed an impressive five strikeouts, shutting down any hopes of an Industrial Major comeback.
The Midway Majors All-Stars demonstrated their skills, teamwork, and determination, putting on a display of youth softball at its finest. With this victory, they continue to prove why they are the defending Little League World Champions, setting a high standard for their competitors.
