After a rain delay for the early game, the Cent Tex D9 All-Stars took the field to play the Ladies from Del Rio.
Izzy Garcia (Troy ISD) threw from the circle and gave up 0 runs on 2 hits last night in an impressive outing.
Offensively the D9 were hungry and hits and RBI’s were all over the lineup.
(DH) Christy McGuire (Academy ISD) went 4 for 4 at the plate with first inning home run and 4 RBI’s.
(1B) Miah Corona (Troy ISD) went 2-4 with a Grand Slam home run and a whopping 6 RBI’s on the day.
Final Score D9 All-Stars 17 Del Rio 0.
This afternoon, Del Rio and East Brownsville play to decide who will take on D-9 again tomorrow for final Elimination.
