Christi McGuire Plays Maestro In the Pitchers Circle Against Latin America in Little League World Series

If you tuned in yesterday to watch the Southwest Centex D9 play Latin America, then you experienced a fantastic display from the pitching circle from both teams.
Christi McGuire from Academy Texas threw 103 pitches, gave up 7 hits and two runs. She also struck out 13 batters. Pitches were just rolling into the strike zone with effortless perfection. Pitch to Strikes were 103-78.
Latin America had their own success in the pitching circle. J’Dah Girigorie threw 153 pitches 96 strikes gave up 9 hits and struck out 11 batters in her performance.
Both pitchers came out white hot with both McGuire and Girigorie striking out 6 of their first 7 batters.
Southwest D9 Took a 1 run lead in the 3rd inning on a single from Lauren Harris (Cameron) which scored Ava Hrabal (Rosebud-Lott).
In the 4th D9 scored on a single from Ava Hrabal (Rosebud-Lott) that scored Jayden Sadler (Midway)
Latin America can back with runs in the 4th and and 6th to tie the game.
In the top of the seventh D9 bats came to life and added 6 runs which Latin America had no answers too.
Southwest D9 Took the W by the score of 8-2
